At Advanced Navigation, we are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in AI robotics and navigation technology. From the depths of our oceans, where our Hydrus robot works to restore marine ecosystems, to the surface of the moon for upcoming NASA missions, our technology powers autonomy across land, air, sea, and space. We are a team of innovators based in Sydney with research facilities across Australia and a global presence. We take pride in supporting some of the world's largest companies as they automate their industries, whether through autonomous farming equipment, Indy race cars, or drone management platforms that keep our beaches safe. If you are ready to build the future of navigation, you will find a home with us.
The opportunity

You will define and execute the product roadmap while leveraging your deep expertise in navigation technologies. By combining your commercial acumen with a technical background in industries like defence, automotive, or maritime, you will help us launch cutting-edge solutions that define the next generation of autonomous systems.
A day in the life
- You will own the full product lifecycle, from the initial definition and development phases through to verification and final release.
- You will act as a bridge between departments by working closely with sales and support teams to address complex applications, hardware variants, and software improvements.
- You will champion our products in the field by supporting customer meetings, presenting at trade shows, and hosting webinars to gather vital feedback and drive market growth.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in technical and commercial roles, specifically within Product Management. You possess a strong foundation in engineering, ideally supported by higher education, and you are comfortable diving into the technical details of hardware, embedded firmware, and software. You have a proven track record working with GNSS and INS technologies, and you understand how to translate technical features into commercial success. Proficiency in English is required, and experience within the defence industry regarding assured PNT is considered a significant asset.
