Product Manager AI ML at Verantos

Our Evidence Platform integrates heterogeneous real-world data sources and produces evidence accurate enough for market access, HEOR, medical affairs, and regulatory use. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the AI and machine-learning capabilities that power this platform and help our customers advance life-sciences research.

Key outcomes

• Define and drive the product roadmap for AI and NLP components that enable high-validity real-world evidence generation.
• Translate complex business and scientific requirements into clear product specifications that engineering teams can execute.
• Act as product owner in an agile scrum environment, maintaining a groomed backlog of epics and stories in Jira.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, customer success, science, sales, and marketing to align priorities and accelerate delivery.
• Partner with researchers, epidemiologists, and biostatisticians to ensure the platform meets the needs of observational research and regulatory-grade studies.
• Manage the end-to-end product release process and create launch materials in coordination with marketing.
• Identify and introduce tools that shorten model development and deployment cycles while maintaining scientific rigor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field from a recognized institution.
• Proven product-management experience owning one or more AI-powered products or components in an agile development setting.
• Full B2B product-lifecycle ownership, including products that are currently in commercial use.
• Hands-on experience with advanced AI algorithms, frameworks, and data-intensive enterprise applications.
• Strong ability to convert business requirements into AI-driven product features and measurable outcomes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Jira for backlog management and task decomposition.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or MD) from a recognized institution.
• Product-management experience within healthcare-technology organizations.
• Familiarity with complex healthcare data sources such as electronic health records, claims data, and disease registries.
• Domain experience in life sciences, particularly observational research studies and disease-specific cohorts.
