Koop Technologies is a category-defining company building the world’s smartest insurance platform to address emerging risks for enterprises. We are looking for a Product Lead to join our team in New York to help shape our roadmap and drive the commercial success of our platform as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the full product vision and roadmap, spanning from foundational frameworks to customer-facing features in insurance, compliance, and security.
- Manage the end-to-end feature lifecycle, including documentation, engineering specifications, UX/UI design, and post-launch performance analysis.
- Analyze complex data sets to build custom risk profiles that support scalable insurance underwriting.
- Conduct in-depth user research to solve customer pain points and inform new feature development.
- Partner with our go-to-market team to create product marketing collateral and drive adoption.
- Establish and track key performance indicators for the product team while ensuring company-wide accountability for milestones.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering team to understand technical implementation and explore applications of machine learning.
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes and help structure innovative insurance products for emerging technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in GRC, security, and insurance, representing our company and our vision for risk management.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in product development at a B2B SaaS, insurtech, or fintech company.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products in emerging categories.
- Strong background in compliance automation, commercial insurance, or products within regulated industries.
- Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with customers during beta launches and gathering actionable feedback.
- Deep understanding of B2B market dynamics and the ability to reason from first principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a founder mindset.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Arts, Science, or related field.
