Stellic is a unified SaaS platform built to help students navigate their path to graduation and career success. We serve major institutions like the University of Chicago, Ohio State, and Cornell College by replacing outdated, fragmented tools with a modern, user-friendly experience. By putting the student experience at the center of our platform, we help advisors and administrators scale support and allocate resources more effectively. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our mission-driven team as we continue to grow and improve outcomes for millions of students.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Product Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that requires a seasoned professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced, Series A startup environment. You will be responsible for owning key product areas including our planner, scheduler, and registration tools. This is a hybrid role based in San Mateo, where you will be expected to work from our office three days per week.
What will you do?
- Own the product roadmap for our student-advisor collaboration tools, ensuring priorities are aligned across multiple stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between our design team in the Bay Area and our engineering team in Pakistan to build and release innovative features.
- Get involved in the day-to-day execution by writing user stories, assisting with QA, creating documentation, and facilitating team standups.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a scrappy and flexible leader who enjoys both individual contribution and coaching others. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- At least 7 years of experience managing product execution with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven success working on B2B2C SaaS products throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and iteration.
- Direct experience collaborating with offshore engineering teams to develop features from the ground up.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand how complex product components integrate.
- A deep passion for the education sector and a desire to work within a mission-driven culture.
- A curious, lifelong learner mindset with the ability to navigate the ambiguity of a growing startup.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
We offer a base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000. Beyond the compensation, you will enjoy a variety of benefits designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
- Generous stock options.
- Flexible, outcome-based working hours.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Life insurance coverage.
- 401k retirement plan.
- Commuter benefits.
- Opportunities to participate in annual international retreats.
