The opportunity

We are seeking a Product Lead to take ownership of our Universal Money Address, or UMA. This is a vital role because UMA is our open-source, human-readable standard that makes real-time interoperability between different currencies and payment systems possible. You will sit at the center of our product strategy, working closely with our engineers and the broader network to evolve the protocol, simplify how partners integrate with us, and foster powerful network effects that will define the future of digital payments.

A day in the life

• You will manage the entire lifecycle of the UMA product, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring we always meet the needs of our network participants.
• You will collaborate with our engineering, design, and compliance teams to translate complex regulatory requirements and technical goals into clear, actionable product roadmaps.
• You will act as the voice of the customer by analyzing market trends and identifying ways to reduce integration friction, ultimately driving the adoption and virality of our payment solutions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned product leader with at least seven years of experience, specifically within the payments industry or financial services where you have successfully managed products with significant network effects. You understand the nuances of payment rails and the complexities of the regulatory environment, including licensing and AML standards. You possess strong analytical skills and a knack for solving difficult problems, allowing you to turn high-level goals into detailed documentation. You thrive in cross-functional environments and have a proven track record of building products from the ground up. While a degree in computer science is helpful, we value diverse backgrounds and prioritize your ability to demonstrate your expertise and experience in modern product management.
