About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help us build and scale user-facing products that simplify complex financial tasks. You will collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and business leaders to deliver features that provide real value to our users, such as automated tax optimization and credit building tools. This is an opportunity to work with a highly motivated team where you will have significant autonomy and the chance to make a direct impact on the financial wellbeing of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end product features, including domain models, business logic, and API integrations that ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
- Utilize SQL and other analytical tools to evaluate system performance and drive data-informed product decisions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your implementations, including shipping to production via our rapid CI/CD process and handling production incidents as they arise.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience building consumer-grade backend software, with a strong preference for Go and GCP.
- A background in FinTech or other complex domains where you have successfully navigated intricate product engineering challenges.
- Proven ability to work with evented systems, data normalization, and API integration.
- A startup mindset characterized by curiosity, a desire for high growth, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, iterative environment.
- Strong initiative and the confidence to take full ownership of projects while prioritizing a simple, lightweight user experience.
Location
This position is based on-site in our new Seattle office.
