We are currently looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis to help us build a more equitable society.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable features for both our external-facing claimant applications and our internal case management tools.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business objectives into intuitive, user-focused software solutions.
- Maintain a robust and efficient codebase using modern technologies like TypeScript, Python, React, and Node.js while managing infrastructure through AWS and Terraform.
Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a strong product mindset. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and possess the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience with our core technology stack, including Git, TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, Postgres, and TypeORM.
- A proven ability to design scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- A meticulous approach to software development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code and thorough testing.
- A passion for continuous learning and a drive to solve complex social challenges through innovative engineering.
