We are Zen, and we are on a mission to revolutionize the education sector. By replacing traditional recruitment agencies with our innovative online platform, we help schools save millions of pounds that can be reinvested directly into teacher pay and school budgets. Since our launch in 2017, we have already saved schools over £10 million. We are currently in a phase of hypergrowth, and we are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team in London to help us shape the future of our services.
What you'll be doing
- You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary delivery team to enhance our core platforms and software services.
- You will lead customer research initiatives to inform your design decisions and ensure we are building the right solutions for our users.
- You will create high-quality designs, wireframes, and prototypes, while working closely with developers and product managers to see your work through to production.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a proactive professional with a strong growth mindset and a passion for creating products that deliver a positive social impact. You should be comfortable communicating your design vision to the wider company and have a history of building intuitive, high-quality user experiences. Your background should include:
- Extensive experience in UX/UI design, including the application of design thinking to solve complex business problems.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems.
- Excellent people skills, allowing you to work effectively with both customers and internal teams.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of Sketch or HTML/CSS is considered a plus.
What you'll get
We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £65,000. Beyond your compensation, you will enjoy a variety of benefits designed to support your professional and personal well-being:
- Hybrid work arrangements to provide flexibility.
- Life insurance and health insurance coverage.
- Ownership in the company.
- 25 days of holiday.
- Access to 1-1 coaching and professional development opportunities.
- A central London office featuring an on-site gym, café, bike parking, showers, and regular perks like fresh fruit and yoga classes.
- Additional benefits including an electric car scheme and a cycle to work scheme.
