Product Designer at Catena Media

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team in Malta on a full-time basis. Our organization focuses on building high-impact digital experiences, and we operate in a hybrid work environment. You will play a vital role in our product development lifecycle by collaborating closely with our engineering, marketing, and product teams to refine the user interface and overall experience of our portfolio websites.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with product, SEO, and content teams to enhance the UI and logical structure of our web pages.
• Refine interface layouts and conversion elements to validate design choices and boost user engagement.
• Improve user flows to maximize conversion rates and optimize click-through performance.
• Create wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma to support development, ensuring our standards are maintained from concept to launch.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on new interface and experience updates.
• Analyze existing portfolios to identify and implement meaningful design optimizations.
• Maintain consistent UI and UX best practices across all digital products.
• Design and execute AB tests to drive improvements in key performance indicators.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure a unified visual identity across our product suite.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience as a product designer or in a comparable position.
• A mobile-first mindset focused on building responsive, scalable systems rather than isolated solutions.
• Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to guide teams through research, ideation, and the complexities of defining new features.
• Proven ability to manage and evolve comprehensive design systems.
• Experience taking ownership of projects, from initial scoping through to final delivery.
• A keen eye for detail, including expertise in data visualization, animation, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma, Webflow, Framer, and the Adobe Suite.
• A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress Gutenberg Blocks is considered a significant asset.
• Professional fluency in English.
