The financial industry is evolving, yet many data providers remain tethered to outdated infrastructure, complex APIs, and inefficient onboarding. At Databento, we are changing the status quo by offering a market data service that allows users to pay only for the data they actually consume. We serve a diverse range of clients, from major financial institutions to agile startups, and we reached over 4,000 users in our first year. Our team is composed of industry veterans from firms like Two Sigma and Tower Research, and we are looking for creative thinkers to help us continue this growth.

Requirements

- Deep proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe.
- Proven experience in conducting user research, mapping user flows, and presenting design options to stakeholders.
- A solid foundation in visual design principles, including typography, color theory, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
- A bachelor’s degree in a design-related or technical field, such as Human-Computer Interaction or Information Architecture.
