Core responsibilities
- Build and iterate on features that directly address user pain points while contributing to the overall product direction.
- Develop and evolve our design system by crafting flows, sketches, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure your designs are implemented with high quality and accessibility.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant product design experience and an online portfolio that showcases your work.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of design system theory.
- Experience designing for AI and Robotics software products.
- Proven ability to use data-driven insights and user research, such as usability testing, to inform design decisions.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, such as Section 508.
- Authorization to work in the United States and residency within the contiguous US.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a remote-first working environment that allows you to work from anywhere in the lower 48 states. Our benefits package is designed to support your well-being and long-term success:
- Equity compensation package.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance.
- 401k plan with multiple low-fee options.
- Paid travel for quarterly in-person team off-sites.
- Additional perks including a desk budget and monthly lunch credits.
How to apply
If you are excited about the future of solar energy and want to help us build game-changing products, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your portfolio, to be considered for this position. We believe in building a diverse team and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single requirement listed.
