Product Designer at Whalar Group

Whalar Group is on a mission to liberate the creative voice, and we are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team at Foam. As a global creator company recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative, we operate a unique ecosystem that includes agencies, gaming studios, and our specialized SaaS platform, Foam. We are building the operating system for creators, and we want you to help us define the future of this rapidly evolving industry.

Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level position within our product development team. You will report to the Director of Design and work in a hybrid capacity, with an expectation to be in our New York office when the team needs to collaborate in person. We are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of complex design challenges and help us scale our impact.

Your impact

• Drive design excellence by leading complex, high-impact projects from the initial concept phase all the way through to final delivery.
• Shape user experiences by mapping out intuitive journeys and maintaining our design system to ensure consistency across our platform.
• Collaborate on insights by partnering with product owners to conduct generative research, analyze user behaviors, and translate findings into elegant, functional solutions.

What you'll need

We are looking for a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments. You should be a strong communicator in English with a passion for the creator economy.

• At least 6 years of professional experience in product design, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create user-centric digital experiences.
• Deep proficiency in industry-standard design tools like Figma and Miro.
• A proven track record of conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions.
• The ability to mentor junior designers and partner effectively with development teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
