About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be an essential member of our small, high-impact product team. You will guide features through the entire lifecycle, ranging from initial strategic discovery to the creation of high-fidelity prototypes. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and eager to apply design expertise to complex AI-driven challenges in a fast-paced startup setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality product improvements, taking concepts from early-stage brainstorming through to polished, high-fidelity visuals and prototypes.
- Conduct deep user research to identify our various user types, map their behaviors, and uncover the specific pain points within their journeys.
- Collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and content teams to evolve our design system and advocate for UI/UX best practices across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of professional experience with a proven history of creating high-quality UI/UX and addressing customer needs.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your interaction design, visual, and UX skills through 2 to 3 real-world examples of customer-facing products.
- The ability to independently lead end-to-end design projects, including defining requirements and analyzing post-launch performance.
- Experience with inclusive design, such as creating accessible, multi-language, or internationalized experiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to work effectively with diverse teams across different time zones.
- A nimble, adaptable mindset that thrives in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
