Product Designer - Mobile Client at Decentraland

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Regenesis Labs team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position for candidates located between GMT -3 and GMT +1. In this role, you will take ownership of the product design, user experience, and user interface for our mobile and virtual reality experiences. You will be instrumental in building intuitive, delightful interfaces from the ground up to expand the reach of Decentraland to a global audience.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX and UI design process for both mobile and virtual reality applications.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define features and product direction from scratch.
• Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews and usability testing, to identify user needs and deliver effective solutions.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in product design.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically focused on UX and UI design for mobile games.
• Expertise in Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
• Strong capabilities in user research and a data-driven approach to understanding user behavior.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A residence located between GMT -3 and GMT +1.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Web3, blockchain, game engines like Unity or Unreal, or a deep familiarity with the Decentraland ecosystem.
