The role
We are seeking a Product Design Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Brazil. This is a management-level position where you will lead the experience strategy for our Fixed Income and Treasury products. You will be responsible for the professional development of your design team while ensuring our design processes and methods remain consistent and high-quality. We are looking for a leader who can translate complex technical and strategic visions into validated, user-centered products that align with our core experience principles.
Core responsibilities
- Represent the voice of the customer within product roadmaps to ensure alignment with our overarching business goals.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of designers, guiding their career growth through regular feedback, one-on-ones, and development plans.
- Oversee the design lifecycle, including strategic planning, prioritization, and the implementation of data-driven design practices across our business units.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in people management and team building.
- Strong technical background in Product Design processes and Design Systems.
- Experience working within the financial services or banking sector.
- Ability to manage processes using data metrics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese, with a focus on transparency and pragmatic problem-solving.
- A track record of facilitating group dynamics and leading digital projects that deliver measurable business results.
