We are looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist to join our team in Brooklyn, New York, and help us turn our vast data into the engine that powers our future growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as our first dedicated Product Data Scientist, reporting directly to the Head of Data.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights for our Product, Growth, and Operations teams.
- Analyze supply and demand dynamics within our marketplace to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Lead our A/B testing initiatives to optimize user features and improve the overall platform experience.
- Translate complex data sets into compelling narratives that guide high-level business decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data-driven evidence informs every stage of our product development.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience in data science, ideally within a high-volume marketplace environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, which you use as your primary tool for data extraction and analysis.
- Strong command of Python for deeper data exploration and modeling.
- Proven track record in designing and executing A/B testing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- A self-starting mindset with the ability to identify critical business questions independently.
- Strong project management skills and a meticulous approach to data accuracy.
- Fluency in English.
