WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

As a Product Data Scientist at Yousician, you'll serve as both a user advocate and data expert, ensuring our products deliver real value to users. You'll combine analytical expertise with product thinking to uncover user pain points, preferences, and behaviors that drive our product decisions. Working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you'll use data to inform product strategy, measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Act as the voice of the user through data, analyzing aggregated behavior to understand pain points, "aha moments," and friction in the product
• Support product teams in making data-informed decisions about new features, marketing campaigns, and retention strategies
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate product changes and new features
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor key product metrics and KPIs
• Develop predictive models to forecast user behavior and product performance
• Identify user segments and personas based on behavior patterns
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape
• Collaborate with product teams to define success metrics for new features
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Inform roadmap prioritization by analyzing feature success and usage metrics
• Proactively identify opportunities for product improvements based on data analysis

HOW YOU WILL WORK

You'll be embedded within product teams rather than isolated in a data department. You'll participate in product planning sessions, sprint reviews, and user research to develop a deep understanding of our users and their needs. While you'll have independence to explore data and conduct analyses, your work will always be in service of creating better products that solve real user problems.

This role combines the best of product analytics and data science, with a strong focus on business impact and user advocacy. You'll use your technical skills to extract insights from data, and your business acumen to ensure those insights drive meaningful product improvements that truly address user needs.
