The role
We are seeking a Product Data Analyst to join our Consumer team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is a mid-level position designed for a curious, self-driven professional who enjoys navigating complex data environments. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to build data assets, conduct experiments, and provide the insights that shape our user and dealer experiences.
Core responsibilities
- Utilize your SQL expertise to conduct exploratory analyses across disparate data sources, transforming unstructured big data into actionable insights regarding product performance and user behavior.
- Serve as an authority on A/B experimentation by advising product managers and engineers on metrics, sample sizes, and the robustness of findings to drive data-informed product innovations.
- Develop intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that guide decision-making for senior stakeholders, while auditing existing metrics to ensure they align with our evolving business needs.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in analytics or an analytics-adjacent field, with a focus on quantitative analysis and complex data modeling.
- Expert-level fluency in SQL and a strong working knowledge of statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
- A solid grasp of core statistical concepts, including regression and significance testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex quantitative findings to leadership.
- Strong project planning abilities and a proactive mindset toward identifying business opportunities.
- Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, DBT, Looker, and Jira is highly valued.
