Waterworks is looking for a Product Compliance Coordinator
We are looking for a Product Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Portugal and help us expand our luxury bath and kitchen brand into new global markets. For over 40 years, Waterworks has been a leader in high-end design, and you will play a key role in ensuring our exquisite fixtures and hardware meet international regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the certification and listing process for our products by working with third-party agencies.
- Coordinate factory compliance campaigns through Assent and organize the resulting data.
- Request quotes and manage testing procedures with our selected laboratories.
- Prepare and present compliance data for our monthly review meetings.
- Contribute to the development of our internal product standards for safety and performance.
- Keep our compliance database accurate by updating regulatory documentation and product attributes.
- Research international codes and regulations, including REACH, RoHS, and the Lacey Act, to support our diverse product lines.
- Stay informed on emerging compliance engineering practices and industry standards.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production planning, or the plumbing industry.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, along with experience using Smartsheets.
- The ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- A willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Current residency in Portugal, as we are unable to provide relocation or sponsorship.
Nice-to-haves
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with international plumbing standards and building codes.
- Technical knowledge related to our specific product lines.
