At COTA, we are dedicated to making data-driven cancer care the standard across the healthcare industry, ensuring everyone has a clear path to treatment. We are looking for a motivated Product Associate to join our team in a hybrid capacity to help us bring clarity to oncology through our growing suite of data products.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our core data pull request process to support internal operations and external business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product managers, clinical experts, engineers, and analysts to define product specifications and validate features.
- Translate customer feedback and market research into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Conduct data queries and ad hoc analyses to support product discovery and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain essential product documentation, including data dictionaries and specification sheets.
- Identify opportunities to automate internal processes to improve team scalability and efficiency.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or Public Health.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in product management, data analysis, healthcare technology, or consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive data-backed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with oncology terminology and clinical context.
- Prior experience working with real-world data.
- A proven track record of taking a project from initial concept through to execution and impact evaluation.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $125,000 USD.
