About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our Insurance department. In this role, you will take full ownership of the insurance product implementation phase, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insurance products that meet both market demands and regulatory requirements. Your role will be pivotal in translating business needs into actionable insights, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including business development, sales, and product, to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities

Product Implementation:

• Take full ownership of the insurance product implementation phase.
• Compile and maintain the product specification document to be shared with the tech team for configuring insurance products in our system.
• Identify and document insurance product improvement needs, including Product Oversight and Governance (POG) and product review.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and deliver reports to insurance partners, including but not limited to:
• Monthly Indicators (MIs)
• Reporting (bdx setup)
• Claims monitoring
• Management team reporting

Market Research & Product Development:

• Conduct market research for both new and existing products to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Review and refine the customer journey, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Define new product requirements and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

What do you need

Must have:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an insurtech company, MGA, broker, or an insurance company with a focus on technology.
• University degree in Economics, Business, Law, or a related field. 
• Fluency in French and English is essential.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with business development, sales, and product teams to achieve customer success.
• Exceptional stakeholder and engagement skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• A Master’s degree or PhD in a related field
• Industry Experience: Previous experience working with an insurtech company.
