What you bring

As a senior member of our team, you will report directly to the COO and oversee the entire lifecycle of our Biorefinery Project. This full-time, remote position requires a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of novel technology deployment while ensuring our operations remain efficient, safe, and cost-effective. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the engineering activities for our major capital project while serving as the primary point of contact for our EPC partners.
• Managing internal teams of engineers and technicians to ensure all project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Translating data from our pilot operations into robust engineering designs to support the successful startup of our commercial facility.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a deep technical foundation and the leadership skills to drive large-scale initiatives. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, though a Master’s degree is preferred. We require at least 15 years of experience in process engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in technical project management roles. You must have a proven track record of managing projects exceeding $100M within the chemical or renewable materials industry. Success in this role demands strong expertise in process simulation, risk assessment, and environmental compliance. You should be a collaborative, data-driven professional who communicates effectively and maintains the highest standards for safety and ethical behavior. Please note that this role requires the ability to travel approximately 40 percent of the time to project sites and vendor locations.

What we offer
