What you bring
As a Senior Process Engineer (Weld), you will play a vital role in our on-site operations in the United States. This is a full-time position where you will apply your expertise in GTAW manual and robotic weld repairs to ensure our turbine engine components meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating weld processes and customer specifications to ensure all operations align with FAA regulations and technical data.
- Solving complex weld process issues and developing innovative methods to improve quality and turn time without compromising the end product.
- Providing essential technical support to production and sales teams, including the design of tooling and fixturing to streamline our manufacturing processes.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses advanced knowledge in welding and manufacturing processes. You should have a two or four-year technical degree, such as a BS in Materials, Welding, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. Success in this role requires the ability to comprehend complex technical information and communicate effectively in English. We value candidates who are organized, capable of maintaining detailed records, and have a general understanding of civil aviation regulations. A background in turbine engine component repair is preferred, and we look for individuals who are committed to ongoing professional development.
