We are looking for passionate individuals to join our mission-led team in Australia as we continue to scale our impact.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Process Development Associate to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level, on-site role based in Australia. - Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to optimize processes and facilitate technology transfer into our large-scale production facilities.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow enhancements, refining protocols, and contributing to experimental designs that influence product quality.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- A relevant bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in process sciences or manufacturing, specifically with mammalian, bacterial, or yeast fermentation.
- Strong technical competence in aseptic techniques, seed train maintenance, and the operation of laboratory equipment like incubators and autoclaves.
- Familiarity with bioreactor control systems and cell culture instrumentation, including monitoring pH, gassing, and metabolite levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and plotting using tools such as Excel, JMP, or Prism.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A high level of organizational skill and attention to detail when maintaining records and documentation.
- Fluency in English.
