We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join us for a 12-month contract and play a vital role in nurturing our own brand portfolio.
What you bring
In this Senior level role, you will be based in New Zealand and operate in a hybrid capacity. You will focus on managing product lifecycles and driving strategic growth for our private label categories. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and proposing category strategies that align with our core brand promises and regional requirements.
- Leading project teams using Agile methodologies to deliver actionable category plans.
- Engaging with regional category managers and various stakeholders to secure support and alignment for your strategic initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong balance of commercial acumen and a genuine passion for product development. You should have at least three years of experience within the FMCG sector, specifically in product or category management. Proficiency in analyzing market trends and customer insights using industry tools is essential. We value individuals who demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative coaching style, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A solid understanding of the cooperative retail model and experience in the New Zealand or international food industry will be highly regarded.
