The role
We are looking for a dedicated Private Equity Intern to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is designed for students currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the private equity industry. You will work in a hybrid capacity out of our Beijing office, where you will immerse yourself in our investment verticals and contribute to our ongoing success.
Core responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive due diligence, including financial modeling and the preparation of investment memorandums, for fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions.
- Engage with fund managers and portfolio company leadership to conduct rigorous asset-level underwriting and qualitative analysis.
- Execute deep-dive market research using proprietary and public databases to identify and quantify macroeconomic trends across diverse global industries.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong analytical capabilities and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. We require the following qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with an expected graduation date of 2026 or later.
- Completion of at least one relevant internship lasting three to six months.
- The ability to work on-site at our Beijing office for a minimum of four days per week.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to represent our firm professionally.
- Strong quantitative skills and a demonstrated talent for financial modeling.
