We are looking for a Privacy Manager to strengthen privacy practices across our product development at Axon, where our devices and cloud software support critical safety and justice missions worldwide.

Responsibilities

Lead privacy reviews for product launches, including data protection impact assessments and data flow mapping.
Expand our Privacy by Design program so it integrates smoothly with the software development lifecycle and supports timely reviews.
Partner with legal, customer support, and privacy colleagues to resolve product privacy questions.
Guide product and engineering teams on privacy and data protection considerations for their work.
Support broader privacy program initiatives as needed.

Must-haves

At least eight years of relevant professional experience.
Deep knowledge of privacy and data protection principles.
Proven success working across legal, sales, product, and operations teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on experience conducting privacy reviews for complex products.
Solid background with cloud-based software and services.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Active involvement in the privacy community.
Experience working with public-sector or law enforcement organizations.
Familiarity with frameworks such as the NIST Privacy Framework or ISO 27701.
Experience with AI governance practices.

Benefits

Base salary ranges from USD 121000 to USD 181000, depending on location and experience.
