About the Role
We are looking for a Privacy Community Manager to join us on a part-time basis. In this remote position you will connect privacy leaders, host thoughtful discussions, and create programs that expand our visibility across the industry while contributing your own expertise on data privacy topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Summarize complex privacy regulations and current news in clear, conversational language for both written updates and live discussions.
- Plan and lead small-group and large-group conversations that keep our community engaged and informed on data privacy developments.
- Use Slack, email, LinkedIn, Zoom, and occasional in-person meetups to maintain regular contact with community members and grow participation.
Requirements
- Juniors-level experience in community management, marketing, or privacy-related work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical privacy topics to varied audiences.
- Comfort using Slack, LinkedIn, Zoom, and email as primary channels for community interaction.
- Fluency in English.
Location
This role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $50-$60 USD per hour. In addition, we support a flexible remote work arrangement that allows you to balance this role with other commitments.
