Clean Crop Technologies is revolutionizing agriculture by eliminating pathogens from seeds using our proprietary cold plasma technology. We are looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to join our growing team, help us scale our operations, and contribute to a more sustainable food future.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic improvement of our cold plasma seed treatment systems.
Manage the integration of mass handling equipment into our existing treatment processes.
Optimize subsystems across mechanical, electrical, and control engineering disciplines.
Design and execute validation test beds to ensure system stability and performance.
Oversee the commissioning of new equipment and refine validation protocols.
Mentor junior engineers and establish technical best practices to foster team growth.
Collaborate closely with the recipe development team to ensure seamless equipment handoffs.

Must-haves

A B.S. or M.S. degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience working with industrial equipment, ideally involving mass handling.
Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control engineering.
A proven history of leading complex system integration projects.
Experience mentoring junior staff and improving internal engineering processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to balance high-level technical goals with practical execution.
Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced startup environment where you can navigate ambiguity.
