Principal System QA Engineer at Palo Alto Networks

We are looking for a highly motivated Principal System QA Engineer to join our Cortex DevOps Platform team at our R&D center in Tel Aviv. Our platform powers the infrastructure and cloud deployments for all Cortex products, serving thousands of engineers at a massive scale. As part of our team, you will help us transform security operations by breaking down silos between network, endpoint, and cloud, leveraging AI to provide modern security centers with complete protection against evolving threats.

What you bring

In this full-time, on-site role, you will act as a key contributor to our platform's reliability and performance. You will bring your senior-level expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity to ensure our systems remain robust and secure. Your daily responsibilities will include the following:

• Developing, executing, and analyzing complex, infrastructure-related end-to-end system user flows.
• Prioritizing and managing both manual and automated testing within our system environment to keep pace with new functionalities and integrations.
• Debugging, reporting, and tracking system failures to ensure high-quality releases across our GCP-based cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about product quality and thrives in a fast-paced development environment. You should possess a strong technical background in testing, automation, and infrastructure management. Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as you will be collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers. The ideal candidate is competitive, eager to tackle tough challenges, and comfortable working with cloud technologies like GCP. A deep understanding of test management and debugging is critical, as is the ability to work effectively within a large-scale, mission-driven team.
