About the Role
This is a full-time, remote position for an experienced engineering leader. You will play a critical role in driving the evolution of our core product components and scaling our development efforts. You will collaborate closely with our product management and architecture teams to shape our technology roadmap, ensure internal alignment, and guide our scrum teams toward successful delivery. We are looking for someone who is eager to tackle complex challenges and implement maintainable solutions that directly improve the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex features while collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and leadership.
- Enhance and evolve our product architecture to ensure it remains efficient, scalable, and capable of supporting our long-term business goals.
- Promote engineering excellence by setting high standards for code quality and supportability, while actively mentoring other software engineers on the team.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who bring significant experience and a strong technical foundation to our team.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in shipping enterprise-grade software products.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing monitoring.
- Proficiency in writing readable, testable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or Java.
- An advanced understanding of DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security-by-design principles and observability tools like Sentry, Datadog, or Splunk.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Location
This role is remote and open to candidates based in the United States. While we are flexible, we have a preference for applicants located in Seattle, the Bay Area, New York City, or Chicago.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $240,000 USD. In addition to your salary, you will receive equity compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
