What is this role?

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. This is an executive-level position perfect for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant impact on our Pivot to SaaS initiative. You will work in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where you can solve complex, ambiguous problems while utilizing the latest technologies to deliver end-to-end functionality for our customers.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and debug sophisticated software solutions within distributed systems.
• Serve as a primary technical contributor, providing expert direction and mentorship to fellow engineers.
• Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot complex software issues and drive our technical strategy forward.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have 9 to 16 years of relevant experience and a strong command of English. We are looking for someone who brings the following expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of logical and object-oriented design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Deep proficiency in C++ and Java.
• Expertise in SQL and database internals, particularly regarding transaction logging semantics and replication.
• A strong technical background in data integration and query processing.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-energy, startup environment.

Bonus points if you have experience working with enterprise customers or possess a deep understanding of various SQL Server database flavors.
