We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in India. At Conga, we focus on simplifying complex business processes through our revenue lifecycle management solutions. We help organizations handle everything from order configuration to contract renewals using a data model that adapts to evolving needs. Responsibilities
- Lead the platform-level design, development, and implementation of critical enterprise applications while collaborating closely with the UX team to maintain aesthetic and usability standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster a culture of continuous learning, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure our output remains an industry benchmark.
- Drive technical innovation by staying current with emerging trends and identifying performance bottlenecks to enhance the efficiency of our web applications.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building high-performance systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- More than 7 years of professional experience in UI development with a deep understanding of browser ecosystems.
- Expert-level proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, React, and CSS abstractions like SASS or Less.
- Experience with modern development tools such as Webpack, as well as a solid grasp of the full software development life cycle.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document architectural designs and coding standards clearly.
