About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. In this leadership position, you will guide our technical direction by improving lead times and rethinking our development processes. You will balance high-level architectural strategy with hands-on coding to ensure our solutions remain scalable, robust, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance our engineering practices by accelerating build times and innovating our testing strategies.
• Define the future architecture of our products while maintaining a hands-on approach to understand day-to-day development challenges.
• Inspire and motivate fellow engineers while acting as a clear communicator for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in Engineering with a focus on AWS and Java. You should be comfortable working across Frontend and Mobile stacks and have experience utilizing modern developer tools like GitHub and AI-based assistants. We value leaders who prioritize industry-standard technologies and have a proven ability to demystify complex technical concepts for the wider organization.

Location

This position is based in Germany and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in our Berlin office.
