What you bring

We are seeking an executive-level Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our platform, which serves as the backbone for loyalty, eCommerce, and search functionality. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that handle complex requirements.
• Providing technical direction to development teams working on our core platform services.
• Managing production services, including participating in on-call rotations and incident resolution.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science or a related technical field, backed by over a decade of experience in designing and maintaining large-scale software services. We value candidates who have experience in multi-tenant environments and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous setting. You should be proficient in statically typed languages such as Kotlin, Java, or C#. Additionally, you should have deep expertise in microservices, Kubernetes, and Redis, along with hands-on experience deploying services on Azure or AWS.
