What you bring

We are seeking an executive-level Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis within the United States. In this role, you will leverage your mastery of Python, Java, Golang, SQL, and Kubernetes to build high-impact solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the technical design and implementation of our complex frontend and backend services, data structures, and cloud architecture.
• Partnering with product, design, analytics, and engineering teams to define requirements and build sophisticated software systems.
• Serving as the primary technical resource for our Scrum teams while mentoring fellow engineers to elevate our collective craftsmanship.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings over eight years of experience in software engineering, with at least three of those years spent in a leadership capacity. You should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of designing production-quality backend services and cloud-native, containerized applications. You must be comfortable communicating technical strategies to senior management and have a strong ability to influence engineering best practices across an organization. A deep understanding of data stores and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this role.

What we offer
