The opportunity

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Santiago on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, guiding the direction of our systems and mentoring those around you. You will work closely with experts across machine learning and cyber threat intelligence to evolve our Digital Risk Protection SaaS. This is a chance to make a significant impact on the global threat landscape while growing your own potential alongside a highly collaborative and talented group of people.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with cross-functional experts to design and develop the next generation of solutions for the ZeroFox platform.
• You will act as a technical mentor and leader, helping your team make critical architectural decisions and raising the bar for our design and testing standards.
• You will research and build cutting-edge products that improve the lives of our customers and developers, helping to make the internet a safer place for everyone.

Who you are

You are a communicative and teamwork-oriented professional who thrives in agile environments. You have a deep background in software development, typically supported by 8 or more years of experience, and you are comfortable working in English. You bring a strong understanding of web architecture, cloud services like AWS, and microservices. We value your ability to act as a domain expert, and we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go. Familiarity with Django, Angular, or Kubernetes is considered a plus.
