What you'll be doing
- You will design, architect, and build high-quality, reliable systems at scale while providing technical leadership across multiple engineering domains.
- You will act as a mentor and role model for our engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative problem-solving.
- You will plan and roadmap complex, large-scale projects that push the boundaries of our current capabilities and drive our long-term technical strategy.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone with extensive professional experience who is ready to take ownership of our technical direction. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- Over 14 years of professional experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or a similar fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant programming expertise in languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
- At least 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS.
- Deep domain expertise in building complex, data-driven, or distributed systems with a focus on Kubernetes, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.
- A strong background in Machine Learning concepts and modern frontend development using JavaScript and React.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale refactors, mentor other engineers, and communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
