We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an executive-level role where you will lead the technical development of Wordscapes Shapes, ensuring our game features align with business objectives while maintaining high standards for quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Drive architecture planning and lead technical discussions across our cross-functional team to ensure project success.
- Manage project priorities by assessing trade-offs, mitigating risks, and delivering high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Partner closely with product managers, artists, and designers to align our technical roadmap with player needs and business goals.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience within the mobile gaming industry, specifically with a history of delivering successful products.
- Deep expertise in the Unity game engine and a strong grasp of how to use it for rapid, high-quality development.
- Advanced technical proficiency in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
- Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and navigate complex client and server-side technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset that values team success over individual ego.
What we offer
