We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team and help us shape the future of security.
What you'll be doing
- Design and build robust infrastructure and services to support our end to end user experiences, primarily within AWS.
- Develop and manage sophisticated, large-scale distributed systems that handle petabyte-scale data for real-time security analysis and user behavior monitoring.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to architect a world-class development lifecycle, establishing the tools, processes, and service APIs that will allow us to scale effectively.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend development and a passion for building high-scale SaaS products. We value the following qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience in backend development, supported by a degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, and React.
- Direct experience with at least one major public cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with familiarity with Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
- Deep knowledge of NoSQL databases and data persistence systems designed for high-scale environments.
- A proven ability to navigate ambiguity and a bias for action in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Fluency in English.
What you'll get
We offer a competitive base annual salary range of $180,000 to $220,000, depending on your experience and level. In addition to your compensation, you will receive the following:
