We are currently expanding and seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Santiago on a hybrid basis. • Collaborate with experts in machine learning, cybersecurity, and threat intelligence to engineer the next generation of the ZeroFox platform.
• Deepen your expertise in our microservices architecture and technical stack.
• Design and develop cutting-edge products that enhance internet safety and improve the experience for both our customers and our internal developers.
• Serve as a technical leader, guiding key architectural decisions and mentoring fellow team members to elevate our collective standards.
• Influence the overall technical trajectory of our systems.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Proven experience in building and scaling web architectures utilizing AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and message-driven architectures.
• A track record of acting as a domain expert and mentor who consistently improves code design and testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for teamwork within an agile environment.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C# .NET Core, or Go.
• Experience working with Django or Angular.
• Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Nomad.
