The opportunity

We are looking for a visionary Principal Software Engineer to join our Rider Team, which serves as the heart of our operations. In this executive-level role, you will be a pivotal force in shaping our engineering vision and the future of the rider experience. You will have the autonomy to make high-impact decisions regarding backend-mobile interfaces and technical architecture, ensuring our platforms remain scalable as we continue to grow. A day in the life

• Architect and build highly scalable foundational product platforms while leading new initiatives that revamp core rider experiences.
• Provide strategic counsel to leadership regarding technology adoption and process improvements, while mentoring emerging engineering talent.
• Identify long-term technical needs and establish roadmaps that ensure our investments align with the future requirements of the business.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader with at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience and a proven track record of building successful products. You possess a visionary mindset, allowing you to look years ahead to anticipate technical challenges. You are an exceptional decision-maker who relies on strong judgment, and you are introspective enough to seek out diverse perspectives that challenge your own beliefs. You communicate complex technical topics with clarity and collaborate effectively with product and engineering leadership to solve organizational hurdles. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
