Principal Software Engineer, Rider at Lime

We are currently looking for an accomplished Principal Software Engineer to join our Rider Team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be a pivotal member of the team that serves our riders from their very first trip, helping to shape our engineering vision and the future of our micromobility platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve mission-critical rider problems by architecting scalable foundational platforms and leading major product initiatives.
• Mentor and inspire our engineering team while nurturing emerging leaders to foster a strong technical culture.
• Establish long-term technical roadmaps by proactively identifying business needs and providing strategic counsel to our leadership team.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of building successful products.
• Strong leadership capabilities, specifically in defining long-term technical vision and roadmaps.
• Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment on complex technical and organizational challenges.
• An introspective nature with a commitment to seeking diverse perspectives and challenging your own assumptions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.

What we offer
