We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role, you will help us realize our vision of a boundless IoT by building the next generation of our platform to support a wide array of global applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to your peers while fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture.
- Champion software development best practices across the organization to ensure high standards of quality.
- Partner with cross-functional development teams to analyze customer needs, navigate technical trade-offs, and deliver innovative, scalable product solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C or C++ and a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable platform solutions that have been delivered across multiple release cycles.
- Technical expertise in developing embedded Linux solutions for real-world IoT applications.
- Familiarity with network technologies such as MQTT, Kafka, AMQP, or ZeroMQ.
- A commitment to building modular, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage.
What we offer
