What is this role?
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer I to join our team in a full-time, senior-level capacity. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. In this role, you will be a key technical leader responsible for developing high-quality, innovative software solutions that align with our organizational standards and long-term architectural goals.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to define the enterprise-level architecture for our SaaS-based products.
- Develop migration strategies for transitioning from legacy systems to new architectures while providing technical mentorship to your team.
- Build proof of concepts to test new technologies and ensure our software meets high standards for performance, security, and automated testing.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience architecting scalable SaaS platforms and a deep understanding of cloud-native development, specifically within AWS. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with web services, APIs, microservices, and NoSQL databases like Kafka or OpenSearch. You should be a strong advocate for engineering best practices, including test automation, continuous integration, and code quality. Because you will be working with cross-functional teams, you must be an excellent communicator who can build consensus and mentor other engineers. Proficiency in English is required, and experience with multiple technology stacks, such as Go, Java, or Python, is highly valued.
What's in it for you?
We are committed to supporting our employees through a positive and inclusive culture. As part of our team, you will enjoy the following benefit:
- Hybrid work arrangements to help you balance your professional and personal life.
