Role at a glance
We are searching for a Principal Software Engineer to join us in a full-time, hybrid capacity within the United States. This is a senior-level position where you will play a critical role in shaping the technical architecture of our products while working closely with our interdisciplinary team of scientists and machine learning experts.
Your impact
- Own the full development lifecycle, taking projects from initial user problems all the way to delivering tangible value.
- Partner with our cross-functional scientific teams to design and build transformative products that push the boundaries of biotechnology.
- Shape our technical direction and software architecture while mentoring others to help foster a high-performing engineering culture.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned engineer who thrives in the fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup. We value craftsmanship and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Industry background in life sciences, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
- Deep technical expertise in Python, Javascript/Typescript, and Angular.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS services including ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, and Postgres.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English.
