We are looking for a passionate Principal Software Engineer to join our 60-person team and help us push the boundaries of what is possible in enterprise software.
What you bring
As a senior-level engineer, you will play a central role in architecting and scaling our backend systems. This is a full-time, remote position that is open to candidates located anywhere. You will be responsible for driving high-impact projects while working with a modern stack including Go, Postgres, Redis, and GraphQL. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Architecting and developing scalable, robust backend systems for our SaaS platform to ensure top-tier performance and reliability.
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and industry experts to build and refine high-quality features.
- Leading and mentoring fellow engineers, providing technical guidance on distributed systems, data modeling, and API design.
Requirements
We are looking for a builder who has a track record of shipping major products and a deep understanding of distributed systems. You should hold an M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, though we will consider a B.S. if you have substantial industry experience. We require at least 5 years of experience in backend development for large-scale, user-facing applications. You should be fluent in English and possess strong communication skills, as you will be leading projects and mentoring peers. We value a candidate who is enthusiastic about continuous learning, stays updated with open-source developments, and can thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Proficiency in Go and GraphQL is strongly preferred, and you should be comfortable designing complex data models for SaaS environments.
