About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational excellence of our data sharing platform. You will tackle complex technical hurdles to ensure our services remain scalable, reliable, and highly performant. As an early member of our team, you will also help shape our engineering culture and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions and apply creative problem-solving to address core SRE challenges.
- Design and implement robust logging, monitoring, and observability tools to manage our global multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain secure, efficient pipelines for delivering features to production while adhering to modern best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess a deep understanding of distributed systems and a passion for operational excellence. Your background should include:
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior or principal SRE role managing production-grade distributed cloud systems.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Terraform, though we are open to those with strong experience in other modern languages.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native database management.
- A solid grasp of secret management practices and security compliance.
- Experience with serverless architectures is considered a significant advantage.
Location
This position is fully remote, and we welcome applicants from anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a salary range of $190,000 to $270,000 USD, complemented by highly competitive equity compensation. Our benefits package includes:
