The opportunity
We are searching for a Principal Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team in Bangalore. In this hybrid role, you will be an essential part of our agile environment, focusing on the design and development of enterprise-level applications. Because our platform handles massive amounts of data, you will build products that scale efficiently to meet the evolving needs of our global clients. A day in the life
- You will architect and design high-quality software solutions, ensuring our systems remain robust and efficient.
- You will write clean, effective code to develop application modules while translating complex business requirements into clear flowcharts and technical documentation.
- You will actively review and debug code, identifying performance bottlenecks and collaborating with internal teams to refine our products.
Who you are
You are a proactive professional with a strong background in engineering and a knack for solving complex problems. You communicate effectively in English and thrive whether you are working as an individual contributor or guiding other team members. Your technical toolkit should include:
- A degree in computer science or a related field, supported by 5 to 8 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture and distributed, asynchronous, or multi-threaded applications.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Apache Storm, and Elasticsearch.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud resources and REST API frameworks.
- A solid understanding of engineering best practices, including design patterns, modularity, and defensive coding.
- Familiarity with Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
