Key outcomes

• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy that measures and improves performance across our clinical platform, including partner-specific configurations and workflow orchestration.
• Architect validation systems that prioritize speed and reliability, focusing on test data strategies, environment management, and CI/CD integration to empower our engineering team.
• Systematize validation processes earlier in the development lifecycle to ensure high release predictability and confidence.
• Partner directly with product and engineering teams during refinement and scoping to influence development practices and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Conduct targeted exploratory testing on complex, high-risk features and clinical pathways where human judgment is essential.

Requirements

• Proven experience in establishing or significantly evolving a quality engineering function, including defining principles and selecting appropriate tooling.
• Strong technical proficiency in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and building robust testing infrastructure.
• A systems-thinking approach to risk management, failure modes, and integration boundaries.
• The ability to work as a peer alongside engineers and product managers rather than operating in a downstream capacity.
• Excellent judgment in balancing automated testing with exploratory methods.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to define structure in a role without a pre-existing playbook.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in healthcare, fintech, or other highly regulated industries where documentation rigor and auditability are critical.
• Familiarity with clinical data standards and healthcare integrations, specifically FHIR and HL7.
• Experience managing quality for highly configurable platforms where behavior varies significantly by client or data conditions.
• Practical experience validating AI or machine learning workflows, including the distinction between testing deterministic and probabilistic systems.
